6 Hour Road Trip...Well, if you count nursing breaks, potty stops and vomit breaks(yes, vomit breaks) More like ninety-eight

Well, we did sort of a practice run for our trip to Arkansas with a "run" over to Pittsburgh for the wedding of Aaron's cousin, Jenne, to Joechris Ross. All in all, it really went pretty well. The hardest thing was the having to stop to nurse Charlotte, which really wasn't so difficult. The worst thing about the trip was being cooped up in a hotel with three small children. I packed a special bag with things for the older girls to do and they both did really well with that. Charlotte even had her own little toys and thankfully slept during the largest chunks of the trip. Things I have learned...1. Map out your destination with places that are "kid-friendly" so that you aren't cooped up in a hotel room 2. A cookie will solve most problems. 3. A bucket is always a good thing to have on long car trips and 4. Investing in a portable DVD player may be a good thing to do before September. :)
