Hi, I'm Mommy...er, I mean, Sarah. Doh!

Last night I told the dog that Mommy would be right back with her food. Argh. It is most definitely not that I look at the dog as my "baby" because I don't. In fact, I've always been a little weirded out by people who take that to the extreme. I thought about my being called "mommy" or "mama" as I was getting Molly's food. I don't feel that I have lost my identity of Sarah, I have just added to it with my superpower of the mommyhood. Kind of a Clark Kent/Superman sort of thing. How cool is that?
